Transitional Housing in Victoria.
A bridge from custody to Community.
Manchester House provides a safe, structured environment where men on conditional release can build the skills, accountability, and stability needed to live independently. We offer more than a bed; we offer a foundation for a new chapter.
Learning to live independently.

Manchester House has provided transitional housing for men in Victoria since 1984. Residents live in furnished rooms, share kitchen and laundry facilities, and work with personal counsellors on their individual goals. The expectation is that you’re working toward something, whether that’s employment, education, or meeting the conditions of your release. The location puts employment centres, Camosun College, and UVic within reach. The facility is staffed 24/7. The average stay is about 300 days, enough time to get established before moving on.
