Join BladeRunners
BladeRunners is an award-winning, free, employment readiness program and one of the most successful youth employment programs in BC. The program consists of two weeks in the classroom, followed by one week of assisted job search. Clients can choose from either construction or hospitality.
Clients in BladeRunners are given support and mentorship for sustainable, long-term employment. The program provides job readiness and employability skills, assisted job search, ongoing support and mentorship. In addition to a $200 completion bonus, breakfast and lunch are provided each day, along with bus tickets to enable program participation.
Clients work with BladeRunners staff to achieve the following goals:

- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- WHMIS
- Back and Ladder Safety
- Job Search and Goal Setting Workshops

Requirements
- Be between 16 – 30 years old
- Not collecting Employment Insurance
- Not attending school full-time
Program Duration
3 Weeks, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
